Supported countries¶
There are two different questions when it comes to countries, and they have different answers:
- Where can my customers pay from? Anywhere. A card issued in any country can be used at your checkout.
- Where can 4Geeks send my payouts? A shorter list — see below.
Where your customers can pay from¶
Everywhere. 4Geeks Payments accepts cards worldwide, with no additional setup and no difference in price for the buyer.
Where we can send your payouts¶
A payout has to land in a bank account, and 4Geeks Payments can only send money to banks in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Canada and Switzerland.
These are the markets where the money can actually reach you. If your bank is anywhere else, we cannot open a merchant account for you yet — write to us and we will contact you as soon as we can operate in your country. We review new markets in order of request.

Note
You can still charge your customers in any currency — the deposit currency above is only what arrives in your bank account. If you charge in a currency that is not your deposit currency, 4Geeks converts it and the conversion rate is applied.
Warning
Iceland is part of the European Economic Area but cannot be used for payouts. Please plan accordingly.
Why the list is shorter than the map¶
Moving money across borders is regulated, and the rules depend on where the platform sending it is based. The list above is where we can send payouts today. It is not a judgement about your business — it is a limit on where the money can legally land.
