Payroll analytics

The Analytics tab turns your payroll runs into cost and headcount insights.

Closed runs only

Analytics uses closed runs — those with status Completed or approved. Drafts, runs pending approval, rejected, failed and voided runs are excluded. Figures update once a run is closed.

Filters

  • Currency — analytics works with one currency at a time; it defaults to the currency with the highest net total.
  • Country, Department, Job Category and Station.
  • Clear All to reset.

Summary cards

  • Last Closed Spend — total cost of the reference period.
  • Projected Monthly Spend — next-period projection.
  • Headcount — active employees after filters.
  • Cost per Employee — projected spend ÷ headcount.

Charts

  • Team Growth — hires, terminations and cumulative headcount.
  • Spend Evolution — stacked bars of base gross, overtime, employer contributions, bonuses and travel expenses; switch between Total cost / Gross / Net.
  • Forecast — project future spend using Average (3-period moving average) or Trend (linear regression), with 3, 6 or 12-month horizons.
  • Monthly Payroll Trend — net vs gross over time.
  • Cost Breakdown — pie of gross, overtime, social charges and deductions.
  • Spending by Country, Department Costs, Spending by Job Category, Spending by Currency.
  • Top Cost Employees — the ten highest-gross employees.

Multi-currency

Analytics does not convert currencies. When you have more than one currency, the dashboard filters to the selected currency; the Spending by Currency chart shows all currencies separately.
