Days are counted as inclusive calendar days (start and end included).

Review requests

The list shows leave cards with type, status, dates, day count, remuneration badge, reason, review notes and certificate actions.

  • Approve / Reject pending requests. Rejecting requires a note.
  • Delete removes a request.
  • Filter by type and by status (All, Pending, Approved, Rejected, Cancelled).

Certificates can be viewed (signed link), replaced or deleted. They are stored privately.

Effect on vacation balance

When a vacation leave is approved, the employee’s days taken increase by the number of days; rejecting or deleting the leave restores the balance. See vacation balances.

Effect on payroll

  • Approved leaves with less than 100% remuneration reduce gross pay for fixed-salary employees by the unpaid portion.
  • Approved medical leaves count as disability days (DI) on the payslip.
  • Approved leaves also feed the aguinaldo calculation (unpaid leave reduces the annual base; maternity leave is never excluded).
