Sometimes a bank may block or freeze a transaction due to internal security laws or suspicion, even if no formal dispute is filed.
- Why it happens: This is an extraordinary response from the bank, not an error by 4Geeks.
- Resolution: The cardholder (your customer) must contact their bank to request the release of funds.
- Timeline: Depending on the bank, this can take 7 days to 1 month. Some banks release frozen amounts automatically once a month.
